SPRACE has been funded since 2003 by FAPESP through Thematic Projects which supports bold proposal and novel approaches. The grant can be awarded for up to 5 years and involves a team of several investigators from different institutions to enable obtaining scientific or technological results of great impact that is able to push the boundaries of knowledge.
